Ministry of Education Accreditation
The Ministry of Education has accepted the CDTA National Ballet Syllabus for the Accreditation Program.
As of September 2007, students enrolled in BC schools that have attained the standards set out below are eligible to receive credit toward secondary school graduation for the following new external courses:
CDTA Intermediate Ballet: For a Grade 10 Student, this is a 4-credit course, where students are required to produce their Ballet Intermediate level certification.
CDTA Advanced 1: For a Grade 11 Student this is a 4-credit course, where students are required to produce their Ballet Advanced 1 certification.
CDTA Advanced 2: For a Grade 12 student this is a 4-credit course where students are required to produce Advanced 2 certification.

Each of these courses also satisfies the Grades 10, 11 or 12 Fine Arts and/or Applied Skills graduation requirement.
